The filters are great for the first couple of days, but within a few days, the water is tasting and smelling of fish and measuring over 250 ppm. The company have been helpful and offered me two replacement filters, but I am already using the two extra filters I purchased at the same time and they are already failing so I’m not convinced.

Hi David. I have done a little more digging and can see that you are located in an area with really hard water. Do you soften your water at all? It wont be the filters failing, they are doing their job until they are full of contaminants. I have never heard of them reaching end of life that fast with lower tds tap water. Perhaps distilling your water might be a more cost effective option in your case?

ZeroWater glass dispenser

I purchased the ZeroWater Glass Dispenser which I am very happy with. It's well made and looks great. This product filters the water to 000 TDS from my tap water which was sitting around 175 TDS. I found the tester which came with this item very useful. The only negative I have is that this was supplied with a plastic tap. Although this many not contaminate the water, I feel like a stainless steel tap should have been supplied. I have purchased one myself which was relatively cheap and added it to the dispenser. I feel like this has made the ZerowWater Glass Dispenser complete.

Best decision!
